It’s that time of the year again, the big Hillsville Flea Market is back in town. This year we will have a booth back in the boondocks, but be sure to search for us. We’re in the exclusive VFW section, back in the back way past the building and restroom areas.
This is probably the most important booth you will visit when you come out to the Flea Market. Everything we sell helps support our mission to help and feed hungry neighbors here in the Twin Counties and City of Galax. So look for us and you may find that special glassware, antique, or knick-knack you have been searching for!

The event will still be held at the Hillsville VFW building. We have a large selection of nice antiques and collectables going up for sale including fine European antiques, tons of glassware, porcelain and pottery, a large selection of fine silver items, pieces of American and local history, nautical antiques, rare books, military items and much much more! Please come out and see what treasures you can find! All proceeds will go directly to the support of the food bank.

Volunteer Sign Up Days

We will be signing up new volunteers on Sunday, June 5th at the Cornerstone Community Church in Galax, VA between services starting at 8:45 am until 12:00 noon and also in the Galax store on Tuesday, June 7th between 2 pm and 5:00 pm. As always, we are in great need of more volunteers. In this time of poor economy, it makes it difficult for non-profits to provide their everyday services without assistance. Our volunteers are crucial to our mission here and, without them, we could not continue. If you’re looking to fulfill a service hour commitment, students looking for something to do in the summer, or just want to have a blessing in your life by serving others, please come see us on one of these days or give us a call anytime to discuss how you can make a difference!
