Willing Partners was founded more than 15 years ago in the basement of Bible Baptist Church in Oldtown, VA. Pastor Ted Bartlett and others from his congregation recognized an increasing need in our local communities and set out to answer the call for help. In March of 2003, they moved the organization to our current Galax location in the Kroger/Roses shopping center. At that time, we were feeding 550 households per month. Over the years through the help and support of volunteers, private and corporate donations & grants, we have grown to what we are today feeding almost triple that amount each month. We have grown to be one of the largest USDA food distribution centers in the state of Virginia.
